The Umhlosinga Development Agency (UMDA) is inviting applications for its 2025/2027 internship and in-service training programmes. These initiatives are designed to provide young people in the Umkhanyakude District with real work experience and help them build professional careers. UMDA’s internship and in-service training programmes aim to support local graduates and young professionals by providing practical experience in real work environments. - Duration: 18 months
- Stipend: R5,000 per month
- Locations: Mtubatuba Offices (3 posts) and Mkuze Airport (3 posts)
Who Can Apply
The programme targets young people without jobs who reside in the Umkhanyakude District. Eligibility requirements differ depending on the type of programme:
Graduate Internship
- Applicants must hold a degree or diploma in one of the following areas:
- Business Management
- Financial Management
- Project Management
- Tourism Management
- Public Management
- Public Administration
- Aviation
- Transport
- Logistics
In-Service Training
- Applicants should have completed N6 studies and need practical work experience to obtain their diploma.
Additional requirements for all applicants:
- Must be a resident of Umkhanyakude District
- Provide certified copies of ID, school certificates, and proof of residence
- Include a driver’s license if applicable
